Monday
Today we got to work. Some of us worked to take down the forms from the cement footings at the orphanage that will support the second floor. Lots of stacking of wood and removing of nails and screws from said wood.
Another group spent time with the teacher at the school, learning what could be done this week. The students will likely return to school tomorrow.
The weather is warm but not uncomfortable, and a cool breeze has been actively cooling us as we work. We hope to see more of the same tomorrow!
Haiti Bound!
Tomorrow we take off from Dulles to eventually land in Cap Haitian on Saturday morning. The adventure begins!
